What do you want students in your courses to learn? What is the learning outcome or objective?
FINA 550: Financial Management emphasizes the principles of optimal financial policy in the procurement and management of wealth by the profit-seeking enterprises. Upon completion of this course, students will have covered topics of acquisition of funds, cash flow analysis, capital budgeting, working capital requirements, and capital structure.
FINA 555: Real Estate Finance and Investments covers the institutions and instruments used to finance residential and commercial real estate. Material covered in this course will be particularly useful to students who will work for financial institutions that provide financing for real estate investments, as well as those who will conduct real estate investments directly.
