“From the flexibility of online class delivery to relevant course content, knowledgeable professors and a focus on cohort collaboration, there was a lot to love about my experience with the Longwood University MBA program. As a public school art teacher with an undergraduate BFA and concentration in education, I utilized the program as the catalyst for a career change. The program enabled me to develop my business acumen and marry it with my passion for education. Upon completing the MBA program, the door of opportunity into the realm of economic development opened, and I attained a position as a business analyst. Currently I’m responsible for providing education, consultation and economic research to support potential and existing small business owners throughout the central region of Virginia. In my new role, there have been countless times I rely on the education I received or the connections I made while enrolled in the program.
