Having spent my first 20 years in my career in the healthcare business, I often get asked what helped me take my role to a national level working for a Fortune 10 company. The answer is my recent graduation from Longwood’s MBA program. I knew Longwood’s business program was AACSB accredited, and the flexible, online, part-time schedule allowed me to keep working full time while keeping on track with my coursework. I use the skills I learned from Longwood’s professors every day at work, and my degree has really helped me stand out as a leader. My business and management knowledge allow me to design healthcare delivery systems and build teams that focus on the social determinants of health in a financially sustainable way for millions of Medicaid recipients.
